In this project I incorporated the things we studied in week one on the Kingdom of God and pre-work on design thinking.

Borrowing from the kingdom of God, I used materials that are natural and those that are man made and brought them together in designing a simple necklace made from a shell picked from the ocean in 2019 but was never able to put it to use and beads bought from the shop.

I realized I had to think outside the box and this final product is take 5, meaning I made the first and it did not come out correctly with the material available so I asked some help from a friend who makes necklaces and she had the right materials. Even with this I still struggled but eventually I was able to make a necklace that doesn’t break.

This beauty project helped me show creativity in that I love crafting things and it’s indeed a gift I am trying to grow.
